William (Bill) Banks

Bill Banks serves as the Vice President of the Managed Care/Revenue Cycle for St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Northern Kentucky—a 1,200 bed, 700 physician multi-site healthcare system. In this role, he is responsible for price setting, payor relations, and negotiating all contracts for facility, professional, and ancillary services. Prior to joining St. Elizabeth in January 2009, Bill had several roles at Humana and Anthem BCBS, most recently serving as the Vice President of Network Operations for Humana of Ohio.
Bill holds a Masters degree in Health Administration from Xavier University and a Masters in Applied Economics from the University of Cincinnati. He currently serves as an adjunct professor of Health Economics at the University of Cincinnati, and has taught Economics, Finance, and Accounting courses at Xavier University, Northern Kentucky University, and the University of Cincinnati. Bill was also a Medical Service Corps officer in the U.S. Army. This past year, he taught Financial Literacy to CCA’s 9th and 10th graders.
A lifelong resident of Northern Kentucky, Bill and his wife, Frances, have four adult children.
